Coolant temperature sensor '93 Dakota Dlc 01:59:15
The Coolant temperature sensor on my '93 Dakota measures too low when I
check the resistance according to the shop manual.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a replacement for this sensor
at parts stores or the local Dodge dealer.

The sensor on my Dakota is small and has only one pin. The parts stores
have a larger unit with two pins.

Any one else have this problem?

Is the faulty sensor likely to cause any problems? The gauge when the
engine is fully warm is just above the C.

Thanks

2003 Dodge Neon- Starting problems Neon1 14:06:21
My Neon doesn't want to start after it is warmed up sometimes. It is like
it isn't getting any fuel. It only has 25,000 miles on it. I have
dissconnected the fuel line a couple of times to see it it was getting any
fuel to the injectors and it seems like there is not much presure in the
line. When I dissconect the line and turn on the car so the fuel pump runs
and let it fluss out a cup or so of gas and hook it back up it starts fine.
Untill the next time, and you never know when it is going to start once it
is warmed up.

Any ideas?
thanks

All three of my rear brake lights are out. I figured it was a fuse.
Found the fuse box but cannot locate which fuse. Can someone tell me
which fuse to check. The manual says nothing about the fuse box or
fuses.
Thanks

Power Window Problem Gdrew 23:25:33
Hi, I have a 2002 PT Cruiser, the rear power windows stopped working. I
have checked the fuses and the 20 amp circuit breaker and can't locate a
problem with them, the front windows work fine. I have checked the lockout
switch in both positions. Can anybody out there able to help me with
this problem?

Thanks!

NV3500 Transmission rebuild Biker 02:18:08
I have a 98 ram 1500 with the manual nv3500 transmission. It seems as if the
bearings inside the tranny went out and I am trying to figure out how to
split transmission case to get at them. I have all the bolts out of the case
and it seperates about an inch but it seems as if it is getting hung up on
something. Anyone know how these things come apart? Any help or advice will
be great. Thanks

rack and pinion? Jhi 18:05:55
I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid with 108,000 miles. Recently I was in a traffic
jam with lots of stop and go traffic. A little smoke began to drift up from
the engine department. I looked and saw some fluid dripping onto the
drivers side exhaust manifold, way back...like under the car. After checking
a bit I found that it was power steering fluid. I filled it up and it was
fine with no loss of fluid until my next traffic jam when it again started
to leak. I did put Lucas Stop Leak in the power steering. I live in south FL
and it's still hot down here.
I drive to work about 25 minutes each way and there doesn't seem to be a
problem unless there is stop and go traffic. Someone told me that I need a
new rack and pinion.

What's up?

Thanks.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Guest 21:22:44
My 99 Dodge Ram 1500 seems to be slipping. Yes it still drives, but the rpms go up and it doesn't shift gears. I stopped driving it the day itstarted doing that and took it to a shop. The gut said he put it on the diagnostic and that it was just the sensor, but then when he drove it he said that the transmission was slipping and he doesn't do transmissions. I want to keep the truck because it is paid for, but how much is it going to cost me to get it fixed. How do i find a reputable place to take it that won't cheat me.

starting problem 1999 ram cummins diesel Guest 13:05:02
I have noticed it getting harder to start my cummins if parked nose up
overnight-and now I can't start it at all. Nose down (driveway is a little
steep) no problem. Lift pump puts out over 15psi, I've cracked the banjo on
the fuel filter to make sure I'm good there. I've also cracked the nuts open
on the feed lines at the injectors and I don't seem to be getting anything
there. My little fuel system relay is clicking but I don't know how to check
the electronics on the vp44. I didn't used to have this issue with parking
nose up. Any help would be much appreciated. 1999 ram 2500 4x4 - runs like a
bat outa hell most of the time!

1996 Grand Caravan- no spark Joe 01:17:53
My wife was stopped in a parking lot today when our Caravan suddenly died
and wouldn't start back up. There is no spark, but otherwise everything
seems fine--fuel pressure seems fine, and there are no trouble codes in the
computer.

I searched around on the web a bit and noticed that there seems to be no
shortage of people having similar problems with Caravans, but I couldn't
find any posts where people came back to report the final resolution.

Rather than tearing apart the whole ignition system, does anyone know what
the most common failure points are in the ignition? I have already checked
the most obvious stuff, namely the relevant fuses, the coil, and the engine
compartment connections.

It is complicated to change it, that's the normal price (not
"prize") and a fair price (not "prize"). If you think it is
really really high you are some kind of cheapskate.

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Oil change Hawkeye65 23:03:03
Anyone have a clean and neat way of changing oil on these trucks? I like the
fact the engineers placed a tray underneath the oil filter to help catch the
oil, but I still have a time doing it without making, at the least, a small
mess. I would appreciate any insight to this simple, but crucial, task.

TIA,

1988 Dodge Daytona Fuel Inertia Switch Guest 22:12:46
Does anyone know where the Fuel Inertia Switch is located on a 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z? I traced the wiring from the fuel pump to the firewall and I cannot find this part. All the autoparts stores I have checked have a listing for the part but cannot tell me where it is located. The problem I am having is that the fuel pump is not getting any power when I turn on the key. I am not sure if it will get power if the car is running because I can not get it started. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Help! 2000 Dodge Caravan Power Locks and Radio Joe Duffus 20:40:26
 Hi,

In the process of installing a CD changer, I somehow managed to trip a
relay or a fuse that controls electrical power to the power locks and
the radio.

The power door locks now only work when the key is on. They used to work
when the key was off and even out. The radio gets no power at all, key
in or out.

I've checked the fuse for the radio under the steering wheel. But my
guess is it's a relay that either needs to be reset or replaced.

Can anyone help me? Hate to take it in for something that's probably
really simple.

Thanks.
